Our ambition is to be known as the leading technology and service provider for sustainable urban deltas. We are proud that our solutions result in lower consumption of natural resources and contribute to multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To fulfill our mission and ambition, we are looking for dedicated colleagues.

Your future ecosystem
Between Rotterdam and The Hague, you find the greenhouse capital of the world: “Het Westland”, where our campus is located in The Lier. A region that has a great contribution to The Netherlands as food exporter number 2 worldwide, right after the US.

In these 100 square kilometers, Priva was founded in the fifties. An innovative second-generation owned family business. Today we are a high-tech company that develops hardware, software and digital services in the field of climate control, energy-saving and optimal reuse of water. We do this for horticulture, indoor and city farming, as well as utility buildings such as offices, retail, hotels and hospitals.

We are proud that we are working with 500 colleagues, in 15 international branch offices divided over 12 countries together with over 400 international installation partners to deliver our sustainable solutions and services in more than 100 countries.

Products for horticulture are maintained and supplemented by a team of specialists, more specifically, the software of the library of control modules. Developers and support engineers work closely together on a stable and up-to-date product for controlling the installations in horticulture. Installations for regulating the climate, energy and irrigation.

How you add value
As a Control Application Engineer, you combine market requirements into a product solution. You are an important link in the design and development of the software we use in horticulture.

You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with the great diversity in the functionality of current products and to realize adjustments. You are integrally responsible from the design to the field test. Your work has a very independent and multidisciplinary character, but you are also able to request timely support from specialized colleagues. You pay attention to process improvements and you like to involve the team in this.

You translate customer wishes into products and a software design. With your knowledge of measurement and control technology, you understand the technical functioning of underlying installations and use them with a view to stability and functionality.
