Your future ecosystem

Our Product Development department exists of over 120 colleagues, divided over more than 20 teams that go by self thought up names like “Mavericks”, “Rangers” and “High Five”. These self-managing teams work in an Agile way and usually exists of Back-end Developers, Front-end Developers and a Tester. In our app teams, we work on our new Priva solutions for both buildings and horticulture. Next to our app teams, we have three platform teams that build the back-end components that are used by our app teams. This platform is used to fulfill our purpose to become a data driven organization.

Since we have multiple teams in our Product Development Department, we want to create the best climate for growth for you. Meaning, we will look with you for the team that suits your experiences and interests best. Of course, it is also possible to switch teams in the future if your ambitions match better with other projects.

How you add value

The goal of your role will be to develop services and components called the platform. The platform enables IoT teams to deliver products. You develop, deploy and monitor services of the platform in close collaboration with your team and teams using the platform. You (and your team) will primarily be responsible for the platform. You will report to the team lead.


On a daily basis, your tasks will include:

  • Developing services;
  • Programming (implementing) platform services;
  • Deploying platform services;
  • Responding and analyzing alert originating from the platform;
  • Performing advanced testing such as chaos, integration, load and performance testing;
  • Deployment of resources in the cloud;
  • Writing and executing runbook;
  • Reviewing documentation and doing code reviews.

Job requirements

Who you are

We are looking for someone that is a doer (attacks problems and solves them), is inventive (tries new tools or writes them), an operator (pushes to production and keep it running) and feels connected to Priva’s mission. What else do you bring?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience working in a development team;
  • You have knowledge of and experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, json, xml, yaml, Azure (or equivalent Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform);
  • You have experience with writing unit/application/integration tests;
  • You have knowledge of and experience with one or more version control systems (git/perforce/svn/mercurial) and Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code.

Please let us know in your application if you have SRE or DevOps experience, knowledge of or experience with Azure IoT, Typescript and/or Javascript, experience as tester or writer of test plans or experience with writing chaos, integration, load and performance tests.

  • A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 3.000,- and € 5.000,- based on 40 hours a week;
