Job description

As an Product Engineer Cabinets and Panels within the (Water)Systems and Devices Team, you are responsible for the realization, planning and management of the electrical engineering (CAD) designs of Priva systems and control cabinets. You participate in the development of new concepts, products and product improvements and you work these out. We are looking for someone with an Electrical Engineering or similar background with solid knowledge of electrical design and the motivation to further develop the CAD-E team in the field of standardization, compliance and product optimization.

How you add value

Due to the versatile portfolio and the different life cycle phases of the products you have challenging and varied accountabilities, resulting in a wide range of tasks. As a Product Engineer Water Systems:

  • You translate the product and module specifications into standard designs for configurable control cabinets and electrical components.
  • You produce the electrical (3D) designs and schematics of panels and related ET components for new products and product updates.
  • You manage product documentation and safeguard knowledge in the electrical field.
  • You manage and maintain the electrotechnical CAD database.
  • You are responsible for the quality of the CAD-E design and deliverables.
  • You manage the backlog of the international CAD-E team and report on this to internal and external stakeholders.
  • You support and guide your fellow CAD-E engineers from both Fulfillment offices.
  • You work closely with the CAD-M engineer(s) and the production department.
  • You supervise any interns and dual students in the CAD-E field.

Job requirements

Who you are

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as an Electrical (CAD) Engineer at HBO level in an industrial sector.
  • You are familiar with international safety standards and product certification.
  • You have experience with SEE Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical or a similar software package.
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and you have a (very) good command of the English language.
  • You have good organizational skills, allowing you to easily coordinate various activities.
  • You are a proactive team player who is familiar with working in a multidisciplinary development environment.
  • You are responsible and you dare to take ownership.

What you get

In numbers:

  • A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 3.100,- and € 4.500,- based on 40 hours a week;

  • 8% holiday allowance;
  • Travel allowance of € 0,19/km with a daily maximum of 150 kilometer.
