Our product development department exists of more than 20 self-organizing multidisciplinary Scrum Teams. We have 4 embedded teams that closely cooperate with our hardware team and other software teams. For two of these embedded teams, we are searching for one Product Owner.

How you add value

Deliver valuable and high-quality embedded software by devising a clear vision on embedded integration platforms; Adapting to our customer needs and internal stakeholders; translating these insights into a roadmap and leading embedded software teams in developing reliable solutions.

We are known for our reliable and innovative hardware and embedded systems. Our systems run 24/7 uninterrupted for many years in the heart of greenhouses and buildings all over the world. Our systems integrate the (smart) devices and provide smart control which lead to the most optimal usage of resources. To achieve this, our Linux-based controllers, implement a variety of communication protocols, to interact with (smart) field devices, local tools and cloud-based services.

As our Product Owner of these two embedded teams, you add value by building a good understanding of our products and markets, by having a good understanding of embedded software and communication protocol technologies, and by providing the right prioritization and input to our teams. You will closely work with colleague Product Owners that will provide you with the right input to determine your roadmap and priorities. A part of your role you occasionally visit our customers to test your assumptions and your solutions.

To end, there is a possibility to take the role of Chapter Lead of the Product Owners where you can also add value by enhancing the level and quality of all Product Owners.

Who you are
We are looking for a decisive Product Owner with a strong background in embedded software development. Furthermore, we will read your resume to find:

  • At least a finished bachelor’s degree in a technical field;
  • Multiple years of experience in a hands-on role in Hardware or Embedded technologies;
  • At least 3 years experience in the role of Product Owner;
  • Good understanding of data communication protocols like Modbus, CAN-bus, BACnet, MQTT, or similar;
  • Experience in an innovative company with smart embedded solutions;
  • A technical thinker with excellent communicative skills who is fun to work with;
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is nice to have) and living in the Netherlands.

  • A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.500,- and € 6.000,- based on 40 hours a week;
