What you will be doing

As a Control QA Engineer you ensure that control and measurement software functions reliably by thoroughly testing system behaviour under real-world greenhouse conditions. You identify defects, validate performance, and verify that control algorithms interact correctly with underlying hardware installations. By analysing system responses and safeguarding stability, you help ensure that every release meets the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and operational performance.

Job requirements

We are looking for an (experienced) Medior QA Engineer with a proactive mindset and a broad skill set. You thrive in dynamic, product-oriented team and enjoy working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Experience in creating test plans, strategies, and prioritizing testing activities;

  • Relevant experience in control technology or installation control;

  • Familiarity with automated testing, or proficiency in Python programming;

  • Enthusiasm to challenge developers and product owners to ensure quality and usability;

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is advantageous);

  • Ability to translate Product Owner requirements into test plans and define risk-based test scenarios;

  • Eager to understand real life application and fundamental aspects of greenhouse technology.

  • A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.200,- and € 5.500,- based on 40 hours a week;

  • We find a healthy work-life balance important: working flexible hours combined with 30 vacation days a year and the option to buy more;

  • 8% holiday allowance;

  • Travel allowance of 0,23 cents/km with a daily maximum of 240 kilometers.
