Priva is investing heavily in its data and BI landscape. As our Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how data is transformed into actionable insights across the organization.

You’ll work in a small, impactful BI team where you have real ownership and influence on the architecture, scalability, and future of the data platform.

Tech stack you’ll work with

· Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)

· Power BI (DAX, dashboards, semantic models)

· SQL (data transformation & modelling)

· CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git)

What you’ll do

• Design and build end-to-end BI and data solutions on Microsoft Azure

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synaps

• Create and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and DAX calculations

• Design scalable data models (Star Schema / Data Vault)

• Translate requirements from business stakeholders into future-proof data solutions and actionable insights

• Ensure data quality, performance, security, and governance

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Control, Operations, IT), acting as a bridge between the business and the BI team

• You’ll be part of a BI team of 3 within a Finance team of 15, working closely with international colleagues.

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Engineer / BI Developer / Data Engineer

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)

• Solid SQL skills and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines

• Experience with Power BI (DAX, dashboards, data modelling)

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Data Vault)

• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps

• Comfortable in advising business counterparts and challenging requirements when needed.

• Strong analytical mindset and proactive attitude

• Fluent in Dutch and English

What you get

In numbers

• A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €6,000 based on 40 hours, depending on experience.

• Depending on personnel development and impact, future growth within this range is possible.

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, with a daily maximum of 150 km.
