Your future ecosystem
You will be part of one of our three embedded teams in our Product Development Department. The team you will join consists of a Product Owner, Tech Lead, Project Manager and Embedded Developers. Together you will work on abstract protocols and modules with the goal of creating a strong interchangeable software platform for our Building Automation solutions.
Between Rotterdam and The Hague, you find the greenhouse capital of the world: “Het Westland”, where our campus is located in De Lier. In these 100 square kilometers, Priva was founded in the fifties and is still a family business.

How you add value
As an Embedded Test Engineer, you will play an active role in building our next-generation building automation controllers. You will utilize your experience in creating, maintaining, and enhancing test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and wiring diagrams to design and Test software for our embedded system. You know how to set up and maintain test environments, including connecting sensors and hardware, to simulate real-world usage scenarios. You work closely with the development team to communicate effectively with the team managers, and you are able to challenge the product owner. The team is responsible to maintain and improve existing systems already deployed at customers
Job requirements
Who you are
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Tester with broad knowledge and interests. Furthermore, we will read your resume to find:
- Proven experience in testing embedded software and hardware systems;
- Familiarity with Robot Framework for automated testing, or knowledge in Python programming;
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot testing environments, including hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and diagnostics tools;
- Ability to challenge the developers and product owner over quality and usability;
- Knowledge of network protocols and serial communication is a plus;
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a nice to have

- A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.000,- and € 5.400,- based on 40 hours a week;
