About the internship 

The technical installation market is changing rapidly. Partner loyalty is decreasing everywhere and competition between technology brands is increasing. For Priva, installation partners play a crucial role in delivering our solutions to the market. During this research internship, you will investigate an important strategic question:  How can Priva remain the preferred brand for installation partners in a market where brand loyalty is declining and competition is increasing? Your research will help shape future partner strategies and marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening long-term relationships with installation partners. 

Your assignment 

In this internship, you will conduct research and develop and test strategic recommendations that help Priva strengthen its position among installation partners. 

Your work may include: 

  • Analyzing trends in the installation and building automation market  

  • Investigating factors influencing partner loyalty and brand preference  

  • Interviewing installation partners to understand their expectations, needs, and challenges  

  • Benchmarking how competing brands position themselves toward installers  

  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen the Priva partner ecosystem  

  • Exploring how marketing, training, knowledge sharing, and product support can improve partner engagement  

  • Developing and testing a strategic recommendation report with practical suggestions for Priva.

Possible focus areas 

During the research you may also explore topics such as: 

  • How product knowledge and training influence brand loyalty  

  • How digital content (tutorials, how-to videos, knowledge sharing) can help installers work more efficiently with Priva products  

  • How improved knowledge sharing could reduce support requests and increase product adoption  

  • Which marketing and partnership initiatives strengthen long-term collaboration  

What you will learn

Our marketing team works as a shared service centre, so you will be supporting both Priva Horticulture and Priva Building Automation, giving you insight into two innovative technology sectors.  We are an energetic, hands-on marketing team, that stimulates creativity and entrepreneurship. You will be given plenty of room for your own ideas, as well as room to work on your research independently. So we are looking for an energetic self-starter! Of course you are guided by the marketing director and will be taken along to meetings, our Priva gym, our networking drinks and – if you want – you can take part in our dartboard- or table tennis competitions.  

Who you are 

We are looking for a student who: 

  • Is studying Marketing, Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or a related field  

  • Enjoys conducting research and analyzing market developments  

  • Has strong analytical and communication skills  

  • Is comfortable interviewing professionals and translating insights into strategy  

  • Has an interest in technology, partnerships, and B2B markets
