Your Team & Tools
The Test Engineers work closely with embedded engineers responsible for C++ services on our embedded controller, including building-automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, CAN, DALI, SMI) and critical system services such as firmware update, commissioning, grouping, networking, and time synchronization. The team validates system behavior across services, protocols, and control flows, and is also involved in building, maintaining, and debugging physical hardware setups to reproduce real-world building scenarios. The tech stack most used by the Test Engineers includes Python, Robot Framework, and protocol-specific tools to design and maintain automated test suites, while also performing manual and exploratory testing where automation is not sufficient. The team’s purpose is to ensure correctness, reliability, and predictable behavior of the platform in field deployments, catching integration and system-level issues early and safeguarding the stability of customer installations.
