Priva was formed in 1959’s, has been active within building controls since the mid-1980’s and has quickly expanded the business in the UK since 2002. A local Priva partner network is responsible for the distribution of Priva products throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support:

  • Deliver technical support via phone or computer to customers and partners.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, analyze problems, and build test setups or visit sites if necessary.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the R&D team while maintaining ownership until resolved.

Knowledge Sharing:

  • Prepare reports and documentation to share technical insights across the team.

Sales Support:

  • Demonstrate Priva’s product range to potential customers and share updates with existing clients.

  • Support customer events like trade shows.

Training & Development:

  • Develop and deliver technical training courses.

  • Conduct workshops or coach newly trained partners remotely or on-site.

Feature Testing:

  • Test and analyze new system features or updates, providing detailed feedback.

Collaboration:

  • Maintain open communication with colleagues and share knowledge for team success.

Job requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Background in building controls (hardware and software).

  • Knowledge of Cloud based systems.

  • Familiarity with system testing and analysis.

  • Experience conducting training sessions or workshops.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Prior Priva product knowledge is not required, as training will be provided.
